World Cup Edition: Five

A brief tease signals changes afoot in a jam-packed DWCE. World Cup excitement is ratcheted up a few notches with contributions from Owen in Canada and Jeshii from Yamato Damacy in Japan.
And Ravi and Sonia do a little "jazz hands".

Hi Ravi & Sonia,
Sorry have spokent to you guys life in Aus is hectic for me right now, anyway would like to tell you both that my daughter Tahlia, really likes watching drivetime each week. I was wondering if you can possibly say hello to her in your next blog :).
Thanks speak soon...
-Renee
Sorry guys, Renee again.
Why do you guys have your wedding rings on the hand they are on isnt it supposed to be the other one?
Nice haircut!
I watched this just in time to get hte heads up on the US game...
Good look Ravi!
I wish I could do that too but being female a shaved head wouldn't look so great. ;)
We've been watching world cup at work since one of my coworkers on the day shift loves soccer. :D We can't turn the volume up though since it's a public computer lab. :/
And I loved the film from Jeshii!
Eien no Yamato Damacy!!! (I think that means "YD forever" but my japanese still stinks)

Hello renee -- are you and Tahlia gearing up for the big Aussie match today? Let us know what the Aussie World Cup vibe is like!
sad match steve -- even sadder in HD, I bet.
lehsa -- there are lots of noted females with shaved heads, such as the late, great Persis Khambatta
WOW Ravi!
I had no idea that link would end up being the girl from Star Trek Movie 1... It's too bad she died so young.
:(
I still can't believe the US lost. I heard it after I had commented on your blog earlier. Sad sad sad...
~L~
Renee,
It's greek tradition to wear the wedding band on the right hand. Since we had a traditional greek wedding, we decided to wear our rings on the right.
Cheers,
Sonia
Ravi,
Great look, man! And a great episode. Keep on keepin' on. We luvs y'all.

Hi R&S,
I intend to immerse myself into the heart of the Italian community in Leichardt Sydney for the Aust vs Italy match on Tues morning.... last world cup i saw Italy vs korea and will never forget the 1,000's of crazy Italians jamming the street setting off flares at 2am. If I emerge in one piece.. there will be video... (which will probably resemble video of an earthquake when someone scores)

Ravi! Thanks! Yes, you pronounced it perfect. YD is good too. :)
And BTW, looking good on the hairless front. Shaving your head in Japan usually means you are going to become a monk. Thus, the hairstyle that is a lack of hair is called "bozu", which is the word for monk. I think I might go bozu this summer too!
never rehearse! less rehearsal means more supercoolness! I like your show. Cuz it's supercool!
Hi Ravi and Sonia,
Like your show... Watch it in bed al the time...
Kind of relaxing...
So... we've been kicked out by the portugese... A big shame!
So I've made a special sad episode of freezeland.
Check it out on www.freezeland.blogspot.com/
Keep them coming!
All the best.

The Netherlands.
Sonia- Thanks for that wasnt sure, but now i know.
Ravi- Yes i watched the aus vs Italy game unfortunately Tahlia is too young to stay up so late( she is only 2), the game was on at 1 am here. I wasnt happy with the end result very unfair.

Oh and the soccer fever is very big alot of ppl have the socceroo flags on there car, but depends where bout you are.
-Renee
renee -- I didn't see the match (was at work), but followed the play-by-play on-line and saw many angry posts about how it all ended.
noel b -- did you survive the Italians?
ismaël -- were those the Portugeuse laughing at your tears?!
hey dave h. -- don't worry, no rehearsals in site!
jeshii - BOZU!!!
