Episode Ten

As the holidays approach, Ravi and Sonia talk frugal gift giving, cuss up a storm, and run the clock out before their guest even arrives. Plus, Ravi comes up with a plan for next week that's so crazy it just might work.

5:10 a.m. Monday in Minnesota and couldn't get back to sleep. Had to get up and catch episode 10. After your comments on the temp, looked at my thermometer to read -4º and shared a chilly moment with youse guys. Wish you could find a sponsor, so you could mount another camera. Really wanted to see the look on that woman's face. Ravi's reaction only told half the story, but it made me laugh as I believe most of us have felt the same way.... LOL.
::episode idea:: turn the camera around and narrate the sites and scenes of your now famous commute.

Great Ravi, keep up the good work.... And Happy Holidays! ( Europe it's still good old 'happy Xmas'....what's wrong with that?)

dee and tarey -- hope DriveTime helped as an insomnia cure-all. 'Turning the camera around' is definitely in the cards for '06!

zeeger - a European Happy Xmas to you.

We'll get the thrilliing conclusion to the latest episode up this week and we may get one more episode in before we take a winter break.

Loved the episode, but, how about some tint on your windows to keep some of the sun light out?

yay! star trek material!
now how about a tiny 3d holograpic projection of a remote guest? (Obi-Wan-esque) and it gets static-like if you go thru a tunnel ...

It's Monday morning here in sunny Pasadena, CA. Just finished watching here at work (shhh!). Love ep. 10, and the Star Trek reference too. Will be watching DriveTime from New York next week over Christmas vacation. Keep up the great work!

Hi Folks -
Found myself logging on at least 3 times on Sunday waiting for your show. Do not forget I have to wait even longer on this side of the world. Even if I log on late Sunday its usually not ready as your having breakfast – and I assume you have to sort it out most of Sunday!

I liked the conversation, sorting out the Christmas gifts. (Knit one- pearl one) Depends what you intend to knit Sonia! DO NOT knit a swim suit, it will only sag lol.

Your edits get better each time. Virtual Sonia is a nice touch. Your conversation is much more relaxed as the shows go on.

I like the idea (tary) of a historic architectural guide through your city as you drive along. That would be very interesting.

I look forward to your ‘special’ Christmas addition …

thanks anonymous, we will address this in a future episode.

brian, maybe the obi-wan figure could be you (instead of standing, you could be sitting eating candy).

steve, those digital elves will be hard at work this week!

thanks katwalla!

english brian, thanks for the comments -- maybe we'll do a more 'guided tour' of our route in the new year.

Got to tell you I think this was the funniest bit I have seen since the "trunk teaser" a few episodes back. As far as turning the camera around, perhaps you could just edit in scenes of the car chases in "Ronin". I mean minus the gunfire your commute is about as bad it seems.

I think the cuteness of your wife makes the show. Her mannerisms and commentary and priceless.

Hey Ravi, have you considered applying for the Webbys? They now have a blog-cultural/personal category, including podcasts. It's only a $95 entry fee. You have till Jan. 27, 2006. You have my vote. Would love to see you and Sonia deliver your acceptance speeches during a DriveTime episode.

Nice Chris Zuk reference! It *does* hurt your chest to pretend to be Chris... I so want to do a vlogs-collide episode when we're in FL! We'll discuss.
