Wow! Another great episode! -- Sonia for the entire episode, music, and a good interview.

...and if I'm not mistaken, this had the first DriveTime zoom.

The guest in the back seat worked well too, I thought.

Side note: Funny comments about hair and hats....but perhaps we're not smokestacks after all.

thanks david, you're first out of the gate. Astute catch on the first DriveTime zoom!

And thanks for the body heat article link (and for thus debunking my pseudo-science!)

Musical artists performing in the backs of cars is going to become all the rage, along with shaggy haircuts.

I just visited Star's website.

Videoblogging works to promote artists!

And I loved how Sonia pointed out the URL. ;-)

Steve,

While everyone mulls over which satellite radio system to subscribe to, I'm going to launch a service where you can subscribe to a live performer! It was almost chilling the way Star's voice resonated throughout the car... very powerful. It would be awesome to drive around with live performances in the backseat. Now to come up with the business model.

Despite the smokestack theory debunking, I'll continue to grow out the shag. Maybe I can add holiday lights to it?

A great performance and nice, smooth cuts, but you may budge into the conversation a little more often, say your thoughts and take the stage as your own unmistakable self (I liked the way your guest and your co-host acknowledged in stereo you were in fact NOT taking an illegal turn...........Everyone was interacting there: actors, traffic AND the car...)

brian, 5.1 surround?! thanks for planting that seed in my head...

thanks for the comments, zeeger, you think I should talk more?! does that mean I can remove the "Shut up Ravi" sticky from my shifter?

anonymous, welcome back. hopefully one doesn't have to be in boston to enjoy DriveTime... but if you're here you're more likely to be a guest.

jonnydock, the Glovebox salutes you!

...maybe you should just ignore a little more what it says........you can always decide to take notice of it again!

An additional two cents:
I think you should remove the sticky from the shifter. You're a very good host. People are tuning in to see you more than the guests. Also, in this episode, I got the impression Star was actually waiting for you to cut in, but continued to talk until you finally did.

zeeger and david, your thoughts are noted!

I was thinking today that this was the first interview conducted with a "back seater" -- for what it's worth -- I think it might take more effort to engage with a backseater, while driving (and not crashing).

I love the concept of the show!!! It's absolutely fantastic and probably a new rage throughout the blogging community. By the way I'm probably one of your only regular fans from Belgium! Yes, even Europe tunes in to your adventures! Congratulations and keep up the good work!!!

First time I've watched DriveTime and really enjoyed it. I live in Boston. Unfortunately I'm not doing anything too interesting right now, or I'd love to join you. As soon as I get into a bar room brawl or discover buried treasure in the South End, I'll let you know. Either of those two occurences could make for an interesting interview.

basile, thanks for the feedback. We'll try to work in some Tintin references in your honor (or white beer references... yum!)

ashbloem, a buried treasure episode would be wonderful. We could make it sort of "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" screwball episode.

I think my favorite part of this episode was watching Ravi's face as Star described the skirts with fallopian tubes embroidered on them...

What Ravi, you aren't buying one to put under the christmas tree for your co-host?

New episode will be up later today.

For the record, I do not want a knitted skirt with fallopian tubes.

Thanks though.
